It Ends

It has been good my dear reader. Countless moments shared from me to you, for you were the inferior of this relationship. And this is why it must come to an end. With the semester at its end and my unwillingness to write over the break, our relationship crumbles. You can not keep it going, dear reader, it is just out of yours hands. So for the next 2 weeks or so, do not check this. The disappointment in seeing no new posts will kill you inside every time, and two weeks without me could send the most prosperous life into a downward spiral. But do not fret dear dear, I will be back. Re-energized, revitalized, re- really everything to be honest. The semester has made me weary and the break is a much needed rest to your overworked messiah. So I bid you well and hope my absence does not ruin your life.

Sincerely,
Wyatt

The Road Less Traveled

As you know, instead of doing the daily work for computer applications, I have been doing as computer recycling and refurbishing project. I am going to be honest, when we first started, it was just to get out of work. I did not really see the purpose of making old computers usable. Well, what a fool I was. We started with the appearance stuff, making a logo, making a wiki, making a blog, making a pamphlet, which really did not make me feel differently about computer recycling. However our project really began when we went to Goodwill. We spent three hours just learning about computers there are it was critical in our project as well as my understanding of it. I realized how old and broken down computers really can be fixed up into working, and working well at that, which can be a very important resource to some. Recently we broke down a computer in class and have researched individually all the things in each part that can be toxic. The moral side of giving computers to those without them is enough to make the project worthwhile, but so is the environmental side that computers are mother earth's kryptonite. Also, lately we have been planning our new plan of attack towards computerless homes. Instead of setting up shop at McCallum, we are trying to strike a deal with Goodwill that gives them our time, and computers, and in return we get a percentage of the computers we helped refurbish directly back to the McCallum community. We have had to plan ways to find those that need to get computers, how to get computers to them, and what Goodwill needs from us. All this planning has taken up our time recently. To actually have sometihng to show, we are in the process of using a computer we took apart, to make a display pointing out each toxic thing in each part, which we will use for presentations of why our project is important.
This whole thing really has made me realize the environmental and personal issues that our project and computer recycling and refurbishing on a whole can solve. In today's world, our planet really does need all the help it can get and the electronics that have the potential to be pollutants are just to much for our poor planet to bear. Also, my daily life would be far harder without a computer and I learned how much a difference can be made even with just us couple kids getting computers refurbished and donated to local families. On the technical side I have learned how to take apart a computer into individual parts, I know what all the parts now are and what they do. I know how to run diagnostics on the parts to see if they work, and with all the pieces, I could build the computer back up into working shape. I know this is long, but this project has just been very substantial to me. The tek that is the most fitting for this project would be 2. (A) apply computer technology to individual or community problems

Big Trouble in Little China

My writing recently has been mediocre at best. I am not sure how to get out of this funk, but I will keep my writing short to save you from the horror of reading my insignificant words. Your messiah is ailing, dear reader, but I will prevail. The tek that applies is 7. (D) dispose of hazardous materials and wastes appropriately

Returning to a Previous Point

I am going to return to a theme previously written about. A couple of days ago I mentioned how asking somebody about character is not a good way at all to find out about their character. This blog is my thoughts straight to writing, after writing that I had a conversation about it. It just strengthened my opinion that receiving the perfect answer on why someone should be respectful, does not mean that person is respectful. The reason for this is, the people who do not have qualities, are given lectures on those qualities the most. The kid in school who is thew least accepting is the one that gets a talking to about why he should be accepting the most. Now when you ask him why being accepting is important, he will just feed you everything he was told from the ample times he was punished for it. Has he learned? No, its just too easy to lie about character questions. If you read this and disagree, please prove me wrong. The tek that applies is 15. (B) use binary and hexadecimal numbering systems.

Computer Carnage

After going to Goodwill Computer Works this weekend (read about it in the McCallum Computer blog) I have had a craving for taking computers apart. This was fulfilled today when we pillaged the school for obsolete computers. We got both a mac and a pc and tore them each a new one. We are creating a display with the stripped parts showing what is toxic in each single part of the computer. It should be pretty cool. Stay posted to see our progress. The teks that applies is 2. (E) use computer technology to record, locate, analyze, present, and exchange information

The Bear Man of Kamchatka

This weekend I watched a feature on animal planet called The Bear Man of Kamchatka. The bear man's belief was that bears were not aggressive at birth and if you cared for them before they thought humans were dangerous, then you could befriend them. This guy had two bears and they were like pet dogs for him. It was nuts. So now my Christmas list is simple. All I want is a bear cub. I will raise it and it will be peaceful, but it will be the ultimate watch dog. I would leave all windows and doors of my house open all the time with expensive things in sight, and just dare people to break in. But who is going to break into a house with a bear in it? No one.
One problem with The Bear Man of Kamchatka is that the show is probably dangerous to many people. People are going to watch it, think they can get along with bears, and then get mauled. I am not foolish enough, but I personally do not have to much faith in the human race, so I bet bear induced deaths have increased ten fold since it was first seen. The tek that applies is 10. (A) describe the importance of codes, laws, standards, or regulations.

Spluch

If you read blogs, read spluch. I debate daily whether or not it is honest, but it never ceases to amaze me. The writing does not even need to be quality, the topics are so far out there, that usually the pictures alone make my day. It is the exact contrast to this blog. Will I usually talk about nothing, I woo you with my wit and control of the English language, spluch uses interesting topics and no more to enhance my day, everyday. If you want to live a full life, I suggest you give it a shot. The tek that applies is 3. (B) use desktop-publishing software to create a newsletter. This is so, because I know my life is like the news to you dear readers. Without the news you will be lost, without me you would be lost as well. That is all for today. Stay classy, dear reader.

A Word to the Wise

A word of advice, if you want to find out about someones character, do not ask them a question that gets the theme of a Disney movie as a response. Asking somebody why it is important to accept everybody or why respect is so important will never get a good answer. Nobody will ever say you should not accept people, even if they don't. They will feed you a theme about how Aladdin was poor and then became king so all people can achieve great things, but they do not really care about accepting anyone. Asking questions about character get answers of all the things we have been told to be, not what we actually are. Now you know the way the world works. Your welcome. The teks that applies is 3. (G) use tool path verification software

College

Today i successfully finished my application to Boston University. Nothing is more stressful and time consuming than applying to college. The flip side, is that nothing is more gratifying and stress reliving then finishing a college application. For all you flustered by something you are doing, just think about the joy that will come when you finish it. Those are Wyatt's whimsical words of the day, and here is the teks wisdom for you, 11. (C) discuss the international effects of the use of computer technology. Continue to keep it real, dear reader. You know I will.

A Case of the Tuesdays

So I usually blog in the last 10 minutes of class, but lately I have not been able to think of what to write about. In the time it takes me to think, I run out of time to write. Please help me, dear reader, give me something to write about. Fuel my writing fire. Ask for anything you want and I will deliver. The tek that applies is 14 (C) identify the financial factors associated with starting and operating computer enterprises.

A Case of the Mondays

I have serious case of the Mondays. I had a lacrosse tournament this weekend and am far to tired to be in school today. This lack of exciting on my part to be here, has thus created this unexciting blog for you, dear reader. I apologize but that is the way it has to be. The tek that applies is 20. (B) If it is Monday, class will be very ineffective. Always. If you are wondering why i don't use real teks, it is because i do not support the teks and I do not feel like they apply to me. However, my teacher does not closely read my blog, so it still looks like I am putting a tek in it. Even on a drowsy Monday, I have still outsmarted the system.

Saving lives

Sorry for no post yesterday, I was protecting my teachers life in the time I should have been blogging. He was on a ladder messing with some wires, and it happened to be right near my computer, so I took the responsibility of holding the ladder, and therefore securing his life. Judging by the surroundings and how high he was on the ladder, he surely would have suffered serious injury, possibly death without my supervision. Dear reader, you have never seen somebody hold a ladder like I held that ladder. Because of my braveness and dedication, our teacher is still alive. The tek that applies is 19. (A) Saving lives is more important than class work. If you were wondering if this is a real tek or not, all I am going to say is that the teks only go to number 18. Expect numbers 20 and up coming soon.

Quality

Today i worked on a pamphlet. It threw me for a loop, trying to think of the folds while just looking at it on a computer. That is really all I have to say for today. I was not given enough time to blog so sorry this is not all the enjoyment i know you readers crave from me dropping knowledge, as I have a tendency to do. The teks that applies is 5. (A) describe and apply different quality control techniques in computer technology. There is no rhyme or reason for this tek, other than that I am quality, and that word appears in the tek.

Also...

On the topic of saving that endangered bear and therefore saving the world, please read this blog.

Endangered Angel

Now you can call me insensitive, but I have never been one to care about endangered species. That is at least, until today. Upon browsing national geographic pictures, as I tend to do daily, I came across a bad ass bear. Many were cool, but this one, especially in this picture, proves why it should hands down be the first endangered species saved. Here is what all the hype is about:

If you do not want to save this bear, than you are a terrible person. This is the spectacled bear and is the last of the "short-faced bears." I am going to turn myself from the blogging messiah to the endangered angel and I will save this bear. The spectacled bear will live. Mark my words, dear reader, I will save this species.
The teks that applies is 17. (D) identify characteristics of good leaders because I have established that I am a good leader because I am taking the initiative in saving this bear. Stay Classy reader.

Zoho Zombies

My friend Joel posted a blog about how he hated zoho.com which is an online word processor. Nobody reads his blog other than James, Jack, and I, but some zoho representative left him a comment asking him what his problems where and if he could help. That is nuts. How would someone have even found my friends blog, nonetheless felt the need to comment on it. Regardless, now I am scared of the evil empire zoho is with its eye on all things going on. Treachery against zoho will be punished dear reader. Watch your back, because zoho is clearly watching theirs. No tek applies to this, it is far to ridiculous.

Here my friends blog if you were curious. Link

RGB vs CMYK

Red Sox vs Yankees, Ali vs Frazier, and RGB vs CMYK. That's right. RGB and CMYK have been long time rivals, and there feud will not end soon. They are not actually enemies. They are just different. RGB is better for looking at on a computer, CMYK is better for printing. Now you know. You can look up more if you would like but i just wanted to give it to you simple and straight. The TEK that applies is 2. (C) distinguish between mainframe, workstation, personal, and other computer systems. It is this for the sole reason that I ran out of time and copied the first one I could find. Enjoy.

Lucrative Logos

So for all of you reading my last blog in anticipation, here is the logo:

I think it is simple, yet attractive. My school is the McCallum knights, so we wanted a knight logo on there, and how can you even imagine recycling without the three arrows in their circular motion, as has defined recycling for my entire life. Ideas of a knight jousting a trash can, and a knight sneaking up and attacking a litterer ran through my mind, but in the end this one was the simplest and least violent. If you like or dislike it, please let me know. A poor logo means a poor project. Please help me succeed.

Also today I emailed goodwill about how we can mutually help each other. I will update you on how that works out shortly.

Wednesday, November 14, 2007

Intense Adobe

Today was spent designing a logo for our project. It is a simple combination of a knight logo and the typical recycling sign, but for some reason it was not nearly as easy as it sounded. I had to play around with adobe illustrator and photoshop for quite some time. Good stuff though. Very worth while. 3. (C) use graphic software to create and modify images is the TEK that somes up my day quite nicely as it always seems to do.

The Messiah forms an alliance

The wiki, my sworn enemy, is now on my side. Today i created a wiki to get the word out about a project I am doing with Joel, James, and Jack about computer recycling. If any of you faithful readers are interested, click here the Teks that applies is 6. (B) identify, select, and sequence the proper computer resources to complete a project. This TEK applies because I realized the Wiki si required, so I used it, even though i hate it.

My Bridge

Alright so here i have designed a bridge that only has one joint:

It works because all the members are connected to that one joint, so it disperses the stress between all the members and stands. Every member is crucial though. If i remove any of them, the bridge will be unstable:

I changed the width of some of the members. It is completly symmetrical ,so the width of each member corresponds to the width of its reflection on the other side of the joint. The widths from right to left, go 120, 250, 220, 200, 180, 170, 170, 180, 200, 220, 250, 120 (all mm). The outside ones are further from the joint and therefor incur more stress so they must be wider. If I decrease the one that is 250, even just to 240, that member will collapse:

For each member I decrease, that member will collapse. And regardless of which one it is, it breaks the same way. Watch me change one of the inside ones to get the exact same result, just on a different member:

Since there are so few members, it makes each one all the more critical. The only other thing that can be changed is the members going across the top. These cannot go below 140 mm, but if they do:

Absolute failure occurs. So moral of the story is, thats each member works off the other members and if you change one, it has a big impact on the bridge. Each member plays its part, and if you do not want to wasteful, and be efficient like this bridge, make it so no member can be removed or made skinner.
The last thin there is to see is if i move the joint. If I move it to either side, the imbalance causes it to immediately collapse. If i move it down, there is more stress, because the members are longer, so they cannot handle it. If i move it up, the entire bridge just falls down. I will show you an image of when I move the joint up:

The total cost of the bridge that actually works is $400,000. and there is nothing that can be changed on this design to make it cheaper. Other designs may be cheaper, but this is at its ultimate low.

True Trauma

Today we did a study review for our six weeks test in this class. Now this seems like a good thing that will benefit me, except it was 127 true/false questions and was structured such that the first 75 questions were all true, and the rest false. Putting true 75 times in a row is very frustrating. Feel my pain, dear reader, for the true/false question is an evil disciple of the wiki. Not really, they are really unrelated, but I hate both. That is what brings them together, and will ultimately lead to both of their demises. 4. (B) conduct research and experimentation in computer technology. Enjoy that gem from the TEKs reader. I just randomly picked that one, but every single thing written in the TEKs curriculum is pure genius so there you go. Now to somehow actually qualify this TEK, I guess i could say that a conducted research on the trauma brought on through 75 true answers in a row on a computer study guide.

Wasteful Wyatt

Back to the bridge designer i spoke of in the past, there is a contest being held for different categories of bridges. One of the categories is least expensive bridge. Well, instead of competing in this I decided to make the bridge that was the biggest possible waste of money. The program limits the amount of pieces you use, but I designed a bridge that cost $95,000,000. To put that in context, the bridge that will win cheapest is about $100,000. Now My bridge is not attractive, and definitely not efficient, but nonetheless it works. Hopefully nobody ever will think a design like mine is a good idea. If so I will have a new cause to fight for. Until next time, dear reader, enjoy this beautiful quote from the TEKs, "apply the universal systems model to computer activities" (1.(A)). Ah, music to my ears.

The Heart of Darkness

I am losing inspiration, dear reader. I cannot think of something interesting to write, and include something I learned in class and a TEK that applies. The public school system has drained me of all things creative. I know longer want to be a messiah nor do I feel i have the energy left to spread the word to the people. My kryptonite, came about in the class that started everything. Who would've known. There is really no TEK that applies to life, and therefore, no TEK that applies to this post, for my heart and soul are being poured out to you, dear reader, but conformity has gotten the best of me. 1. (A) apply computer technology to individual or community problems. Feed me motivation dear reader, because without your support I will be engulfed in the dark heart of public schooling. Do not let your prophet perish.

Dropping Knowledge

Today we watched presentations in class. What did I learn? In all honesty, not very much at all about the topics being presented. What I did learn, was that you should not sway back and forth while giving a presentation. It is not only distracting, but it makes the presenter look like a fool. So for all you readers planning a presentation out there, read these words closely, for you do not want to be the fool who has good information to tell, but nobody listening to inform.

The Messiah is Baffled

I am not an easily angered person. As a prophet, it is my duty to keep my emotions in check. However, when it comes to a Rubik's cube, I lose all control. There is nothing more frustrating in the world than a Rubik's cube. I can expresses to you, dear reader, how many friendships i have broken and inanimate objects that have faced my wrath due to the anger brought on from this god forsaken cube. The TEKs that applies, is "describe how technology has affected individuals, societies, cultures, economies, and environments" and this is very relevant because the technology of the cube has greatly affected me and everyone around me in a terrible, terrible way.

Bridge Designer

Today in class I played with this program called west point bridge designer. The name tells it all, you build bridges. I was not very skilled in my bridge making but I saw the potential for good things. While this just further strengthened the notion that engineering would be the completely wrong path for me to take in college, it was a great way to spend 50 minutes. The all knowing TEKs includes the statement "use a variety of computer resources to complete a project"and I could not think of anything better to describe my day.

Costume Crisis

I hate Halloween. I was so excited for this year, I had a super tight costume of the burger king. The only thing better than watching that creepy guy on commercials, would be actually being that creepy guy in real life. However, the costume was swooped up by someone else leaving me with no costume. My other choices would be the Pillsbury dough boy, or the marshmallow man from Ghostbusters, but these costumes do not exist. I have no intent on making my own costume for it would not look nearly as good so I am now at a complete lose. And, dear reader, I have some bad news, I was told that i need to start including portions from the TEKs in my blog. Now the TEKs are the curriculum for classes in the state of classes and include all the fell good statements, like teaches children how to solve problems, and teaches children to work together and not discriminate. So to moralize this rant of a blog, a will close by saying that i will use the problem solving skills I gained from computer applications class to think of some way to get a sweet costume for Halloween.

The Messiah Goes to College

Sorry for my absence, dear reader, for I have been confronted with conformity. While the blog is my passion, my life, college is a looming barrier. Society seems to believe one must go to college to better their lives, while I believe one must just blog. Anyway, i gave in to peer pressure, and was on college visits for the last couple of days. I visited the University of Pennsylvania, Carnegie-Mellon, Boston University, and Lehigh. After the visit, i realized college is not a waste, for it is a new civilization to enlighten with the will of the blog. I will enter the heart of darkness and bring the blog to the savages who have lived their life without meaning. Wish me luck, dear reader, for my task is not easy. But nothing is to difficult for the blogging messiah.

Power to the Power point

Today i spent all day doing a power point presentation. I have not done one in a while, and all i remembered was the cool animations you could add in to spice up the presentation. Well, now i am older and these animations no longer hold my interest, but I did realize how helpful a power point could be for conveying information. Now the world is ready to know about electronics recycling because i made the greatest power point ever. Get ready for knowledge world.

Waste and Be Wasted

What do these pictures represent?
They represent all the waste generated by Americans.
What do these images convey to us?
They convey that we need to not be so wasteful and need to recycle.
How are these images supposed to make us feel?
They make us feel wasteful and lazy for letting so much waste build up without doing anything about it.
Why do you think that the artist chose to create these photographs?
He created them to create awareness about all the waste in America.
How hard do you think that it was to create the photos?
Not that hard because everything photographed was right there for him.

One picture in particular that bothers me, is one involving cellphones. The photo is a shot of thousands of cellphones. Judging by the size of the cellphones in the pictures, this picture was taken from reasonably far away but you can not see anything but cellphones. This represents a problem of being wasteful and unresourceful.

To solve the problem of being wasteful we could melt down all the cellphones and make new stuff out of the materials gained from them.

Guidlines To Life (or a power point presentation)

1. It must have both diagrams and text.
2. All slides must be brief, but informative.
3. There should be no unnecessary animations or unprofessional aspects of the presentation.
4. Do not write in all caps ever.
5. Use contrasting colors with the background and text so that it is clearly visible.
6. Have a simple background that is not distracting.
7. Use a font that is as big as possible so it is easy to read.
8. Use simple fonts rather than fancy ones.
9. Use different words than those on the slides when you are discussing them.
10. Do not just be looking at the slides, be looking at the people you are presenting to.

MLA. Hooray.

Both me and my partner Joel met nearly all MLA guidlines. We had one inch margins, the right font, a well done heading, and the page number and last name on each page. We both had a work citied page on another page, but his was titled bibliography instead of work citied which is the only thing i could find on either of our papers that wasn't perfect.

Slide Show Software

Microsoft PowerPoint, Open Office Impress, and IBM Symphony Presentations are all used to make slide shows. IBM Symphony was not on any computers so i do not have any more details on that, but out of Microsoft and Open Office, i think that Open Office was easier to use. Open office had a cleaner, more manageable interface, while Microsoft's was plain and not very helpful. Open Office gave you everything you need right away, while it seemed like you needed to already know what you were doing when using Microsoft even though it did not offer more stuff. One of the best features of Open Office is the simple addition of tabs that let you view and edit your slide show in different ways.

Enlightenment

Today I followed the path set by my good friend, Buddha, and spent all day, not mediating, but reading blogs, which to me is even more enlightening. In this adventure I read about the ban of "extreme hugging" in schools, this guy who hates black people, and a kitten who survived twenty minutes in a dishwasher. If that is not the path to enlightenment, dear reader, then i do not know what is.

Essay. Hooray!

Now i can see no better way to spend the time slot of 9:56-10:52, than typing away at an informative essay of good old electronic recycling. While i would normally be spending this time sleeping, school has shook me from my peaceful slumber and slapped me in the face with an essay. Not an abusive slap, but an encouraging slap, a Wyatt you need to do something with you life slap. So thank you school, for making me a better person.

Whimsical Wyatt and Microsoft Word

Microsoft word seems so simple, just insert text, no problems, yet when i attempted to use it, problems ensued. I could not figure out how to get my name to go with the page number. Using my office assistant Albert Einstein I realized that i could just double click the number and then enter my name. Problem solved.

Captain Planet meets the Messiah

For all you faithful followers of the blogging messiah, I apologize for that informative and uncharacteristic post from a few minutes ago. However, I grew up as a fan of captain planet, and with the environment in question, I know nothing else other than uniting the planeteers. So, dear reader, for a short period of time at least, the apostles of the blog are going to be doubling as planeteers. Really though, I understand the wiki is more of any enemy then toxins in a computer could ever be. So stay classy subscriber. Read blogs, recycle electronics, and love life.

Electronics Recycling

Computers are a main contributor to electronic waste, which poses a major disposal issue, as various components of computers are toxic to the environment. The Institute for LocalSelf-Reliance , estimates that 75% of electronics not being used, which will create a massive disposal problem in the future. I chose electronics recycling to do my part in preventing this. My focus will be on recycling electronics in the school, and educating those in the school about electronic recycling and hopefully it will spread from there. This subject effects me, and everybody else in the world, because the fate of the environment is our responsibility and its pollution effects everyone. Some of my sources are earth911.org and electronicsrecycling.org . It is pretty easy to find information about this. The most important thing people should know about my topic is just that if we want to keep the environment from declining even more, we must recycle electronics. With the technological age we live in, we must learn how to dispose of electronics correctly. Also many components of electronics can be reused which is another reason to recycle.

The Apostles Disbanded

Ignore my last post, dear reader. This project must be done individually. Back to the drawing board for me. I will succeed though, and solve some problems, so all is well in the whimsical world of Wyatt.

The Apostles United

The TEKs says use teamwork to solve problems. This, dear reader, was hard for me because I am a one man team. I fight wikis alone, I do math alone, and i don't do much else, but if I did other stuff, I would do it alone. Or at least until recently. Given the task of doing a project, I was lost. I am to busy being a messiah too do something productive. My mind is too convoluted thinking about blogs to think about a project topic. Do not fret though, dear reader, Joel, James, and Jack arrived in my time of need and the greatest project ever is now in progress.

Hardware Champion

In my life class (aka Computer Applications) I have been given the job of hardware champion. This means that if some kind of problem arises with hardware, i take care of it. My services have not been required as of yet, but dear reader, do not fret, i have not gotten rusty. When some malfunction occurs, I will spring to action and save the day, as has grown accustomed to me, being a messiah and all.

New passion

I am still the blogging messiah, but i am now also a math enthusiast. In my quest of enlightenment, I came across something almost as great as the blog, almost. Calculus that is. Today, I used derivatives to find the slope of polynomials. Molding numbers to you hearts content, dear reader, is almost as blissful as blogging. But i have no time for this lallygagging. The wiki is still at large. How can ignorance be defeated when so many fall into its trap. Please, dear reader, hear my plea, think before you wiki, you will thank me for it later. If my absences from fighting wikis makes my posts sparse, makes sure to check out james junky, blogg'n jack, and joel, the other apostles of the blog.

Cops hate jokes

The police have no sense of humor. I was in a situation involving cops in which i was totally innocent. I figured since i was clean, I should try to lighten the mood. The police did not approve. Pot and scales were found at a residence i happened to be at. A police officer commented that there must have been drug dealing since there was a scale. Seeing the opportunity to calm everybody down, i decided to chime in with, "maybe somebody was just on weight watchers." The cops did not laugh. They just got upset. I personally thought it was a good joke. In another instance, i jokingly asked for a beer and a cigarette. This came about because they were accusing me of drinking. They would not give me a breathalyser or blood test but i was asking for whatever I could to prove my innocence since i had not in any way broken any laws. After being falsely accused, a said, "Since you think I have been drinking, you might as well give a beer to prove yourself right. At least give me a cigarette, this situation is pretty stressful." Well apparently this joke did not go over well at all. The cops just got mad more than anything else. Well f*** them then. I got off for being 100% innocent, and they just had another bad day of another bad life. Nobody wants to be a cop, except apparently those who hate jokes do. So continue being miserable cops, i will continue following your rules, while making jokes along the way.

You Can't Stop the Prophet (Part 3)

I am back again, dear reader, and hear to help those in need. I have small hands, its a problem, but there is nothing i can do about it. If any of you share this problem with me, I do not have a solution, but instead a way to embrace this curse, which after this may seem more like a gift. Those Japanese are always up to things, and today they actually did something worthwhile, they invented tiny table top games. You can now play air hockey, hockey, and foosball table games, anywhere you go. They are small though, so beware big handed people you may not be able to play. But for you out there like me, rejoice that may this may shift having small hands to being cool.

You Can't Stop the Prophet (Part 2)

Now in all seriousness, blogs are law. And in today's society it seems like everybody wants to lose weight. So in honor of you, dear reader, i searched for some safe diets and found something we all can follow. James Skeates, a British man, lost 38 kilograms (sorry for the use of the inadequate British measurement system) in six months from eating baked beans. Now I enjoy the taste of baked beans and hope you do to, because this is a way to be filled and lose weight. While it doesn't really make sense to me, something about the high fibers make this diet effective. So think skinny, dear readers, and enjoy this tasty diet tip given to you by none other than the blogging messiah.

You Can't Stop the Prophet (Part 1)

As an apostle to the blog, today will be used to spread the good word. While blogs can give you all worldly knowledge, some can just give you a good laugh. One particularly stands out to me in this regard. Core77 has this great post about new innovation for a "crutch purse." Now i personally know nothing funnier than seeing a person on crutches slip on ice and fall, but this would take the cake. Seeing a person slip and fall while on crutches, breaking everything held in their "crutch purse" would be priceless. Thank you core77 for making an invention that can increase the joy I feel towards other peoples faults.

It continues...

Do not be worried by my absence this weekend, dear reader, for I was just letting the will of the blog be heard by the people. After only one post, I felt the power of the blog and changed from Wyatt a normal student, to Whimsical Wyatt the Blogging Messiah. I was cruising the internet, spreading a love only known to those in the blogging community, when a wiki appeared. Now as an apostle of the blog i could not comprehend this atrocity. Why would somebody post something that others could change. Do you let somebody else put thoughts in your brain. Well, dear reader, the messiah in me was unleashed. Website to website, and house to house, i found every ignorant wiki user and let the wrath of the blog be known. Do not cross my path if you are not 100% faithful to the blog, dear reader, because i will hunt you down. No mud bloods that tolerate the wiki will be able to handle the divine hand of blogging. Until next time, dear reader, keep reading, keep loving, keep blogging.

It begins...

My name is Wyatt. Now that i have a blog i feel like i have a personal relationship with every other person in the world. I hope you share this deep connection with me. Now that the formalities are out of the way I would like to introduce you to the class that started it all. While i was once incapable of doing anything productive on a computer, computer applications with Mr. Bjerke has taught me otherwise. I have learned how to make myself known, and you dear reader, should let yourself be known back to me. The computer is no longer the gateway to games and porn, it is now the gateway to knowledge and the betterment of life. So dear reader, i am signing off for today but i looked forward to the relationship that we will share and build for the rest of our lives.
