Today was spent going through stuff that was given to us in our quest to get computer supplies from around the school. We asked for computers, and got 3, but we also got 6 monitors, about 50 mouses, and nearly 50 power supply cords. Really, we just got shit dumped on us. I just realized today how many things people have that do not want, but just keep them around for no reason until some foolish kids (us in this case) get them so that we can do nothing with them until some other fool gets them from us. What a terrible cycle of not knowing what to do with things. Everybody thinks though that the next person does know what to do though. We seem like we know what to do with this stuff, so somebody gave it to us, but really we just know that we will get it to Goodwill, and we think they know what to do, but they could be as oblivious as us. What people really know, is something I will never know. The TEKs that applies is 5. (B) apply continuous quality improvement techniques to computer activities. And sorry I did not live up to yesterday's post. I get really heated sometimes, and can never recreate it. I will never be as interesting as that 10 year old, nor will I ever be able to make up a story that good. If you were excited, sorry. That was an empty promise.
